As I climbed through the ranks and made my way to better and better teams, I noticed something: the best insights were often hidden. Most players aren't good teachers so the only way to learn from them is to play with them. I also saw cases of players withholding info to preserve their edge.
I'm Ty “simba” Sherback, and I made Bootcamp to help you, the many, access all the knowledge and wisdom of the few.
This course is about breaking down walls and levelling the playing field in a game that requires a lot more than just aim to be at the very top.
The way I see it, more skilled players means better teams which lead to better matches. These matches will result in more fans that ultimately grow this esport I love so much.
Bootcamp is the guide I wish I had early in my CS journey.
May it help you in yours so together we can grow this esport and make sure it's at the top for many more years to come.
You've climbed your way up through Gold Nova and perhaps a little further.
You've also realized your aim won't carry you any further after being humbled by team mates who talk about nade lineups and use other strategies than a fast B-split.
While we can't replace hours of gameplay, we offer the wisdom to use those hours wisely by giving you a toolbox filled with pro strategies.
Real improvement comes with time and persistence, and here, you'll learn how to make every hour count. But you still need to bring the grind.
A warmup routine will help you increase your consistency and maximize your potential every game.

The best players in the world don't rely on their aim to frag out. It all comes down to where they aim before the fight.

Your movement deserves just as much practice as your aim does. Here is why.

Why staying lethal without firing a shot helps you rank up fast.

Aim alone can certainly win you rounds, but bad communication will make you lose even more.

Make your opponents feel like they are playing checkers while you are playing grandmaster chess.

You might also know me as simba. I've played FPS games since before I could speak and I've been obsessed with how to improve my skill level ever since (ok, maybe since I could read).
Counter-Strike became the focus of my obsession and led me to play 13 seasons of ESEA league, ranging from Open to Advanced over the course of 7 years.
Each time I climbed the competitive ladder, I got to play and learn from players far more talented than me. When I thought I had learned it all, and just needed better aim, these better players helped me realize that there was yet another level to the game.
I don't claim to be the best but I know most material in this course will be new to many of you.
I wish I had something like this early on in my competitive CS journey. I hope it will help you on yours.
