Hah!

You fools!

You really thought the Academy League was showing the future of CSGO? Silly, silly reader. The future is the past - to move forward, we need to move backwards.

That’s why we’re delighted to read that f0rest and friberg are staying on Dignitas through 2022. Nothing beats nostalgia, and seeing those names on the server gives us a huge dopamine hit.

You might have sensed a significant amount of sarcasm, there - perhaps an unearned amount. Well, that’s because this isn’t really about f0rest or friberg.

Brazil took that one step further, and instead of having two veterans teach the younger generation, they came up with the Last Dance; where four veterans teach a 22 year old how to lose.

With an average age of 28 years old, Last Dance consists of FalleN, fnx, fer, VINI and boltz. The future is then, old man. Look, we’re not going to tell Brazilians what they can and can’t enjoy.

In fact, we dare not tell Brazilians anything.

We’re pretty sure even they don’t think this team is good, but oh boy is it going to get views. And at the end of the day, isn’t that what competition is about?

This might have the most skewed performance:fans ratio of all time, or at least since... uh, MIBR. We can’t wait to stay up too late to watch them lose to a team who don’t practice.

Dopamine is one hell of a poison. Chase it at your own risk, like drugs. Or a skunk.
