Prepare your palms for a stinging, HEROIC.

When this version of HEROIC was announced, there was a pervasive feeling that nicoodoz could be the weak link. We’ve all seen what he can do at his peak, but it had been a little while since we’d seen it.

Those fears originally appeared to have been allayed, but recently we’ve not seen the best face of nicoodoz (in fact many believe he should become a rifler - his rifling has been very good) and it seems HEROIC want a change.

The rumour is (again from harumi, so remember the disclaimers) that they want degster, who has been sidelined for so long that he has no pro games on CS2. The guy is uber-talented, but is somewhat controversial.

He’s known as being quite difficult to work with, and he’s a bit out of the meta having been benched for a year, but he’s also really, really good.

That’s quite important.

He’s a better player than nicoodoz when he’s on it, and he’s had time to reflect and become a better teammate, if the rumours are true at least.

It’s an exciting move because an on-form degster is a very fun player to watch play the game, and HEROIC aren’t that far from being a top team - but there’s also a nagging feeling that it’s all going to blow up in their face somehow.
