Semi-finals preview
Aurora vs. Vitality. PARIVISION vs. NAVI.
Yesterday, we said it was hard to predict the outcomes of the games, but today? One of them feels like it’s already concluded.
Let’s start with that one, then - Aurora vs Vitality. Before Vitality became, well, Vitality, Aurora - then Eternal Fire - held a respectable record against them. There was no real rhyme or reason for it; MAJ3R, hilariously, just had apEX’s number, and that resulted in some big upset wins.
Now, however, things are different. Now we live in an era where every win over Vitality is an upset, and those wins are very few and far between. So, whilst Aurora have been a pleasant surprise thus far in 2026, we don’t really see them managing to roll back the clock and pull off the win.
As for PARIVISION and NAVI, that’s where it gets much harder.
PARIVISION - at least at every other event - look next to unbeatable. Series often go the distance (and include all the rounds, too), but Jame and his boys have a resilience far beyond their years or current experience levels, and it helps them grind out those close games better than any other team in the world.
But NAVI have a lot going for them, too. makazze has been one of the best players in the world this year, and the remainder of the fragging unit can all be electric on their day. With Aleksib and B1ad3 being one of the only tactical duos to rival Jame and dastan, NAVI’s full package could prove to be too much for PARIVISION to handle.
Either way, it’s the clear main event of semi-final Saturday, so we’re glad it’s the second game of the day.
And we’ll be even happier when we get to see which teams falls to Vitality in the final.
