FURIA have finally won a trophy in 202 , taking down BetBoom 3-2 in the grand final of the Thunderpick World Championship in Malta.
After a dominant run at the end of 2025 which led into a disappointing StarLadder Major run and ten months of struggle in 2026, FURIA have finally won a trophy with their victory over BetBoom at the Thunderpick World Championship.
The win, which might end up being the final trophy lift of FalleN's legendary career will be a huge boost to the Brazilian side after they've struggled for deep runs all year and recently complained about burnout.
FURIA will take home $250,000 for winning the event, as well as $250,000 in club share.

FURIA victorious in Malta
FURIA began their time in Malta with a 2-0 victory over BetBoom - a close match that was ultimately a sign of things to come for when the two teams would meet again in the grand final.
They then earned their place in the semi-finals after a 2-1 win over Legacy, a much needed result after their national rivals had recently overtaken them in many people's minds.
Let's see what happens when arT isn't recovering from meningitis, though...
FURIA's semi-final win was arguably the most impressive of the bunch, as they took down a very in-form Aurora with a 2-0 scoreline. KSCERATO starred in the match, recording a 1.67 rating and a 38-22 KD.
In the final, FURIA opened preceedings with a dominant showing on Dust2. BetBoom then answered back by stealing away Ancient in overtime, and even put themselves ahead with a 13-9 win on Nuke.
Down but not out, FURIA tied up the series on Mirage, avoiding overtime at 13-11 after both teams had massive struggles on the T side.
Then, on Cache, FURIA returned to their map one dominance, winning map 13-6 and taking the series with relative ease after a strong team performance.
And all 20 fans in the studio went wild.
For his efforts in the event, KSCERATO was awarded the MVP medal. He closed out the event with a whopping 1.34 rating - 0.1 higher than his next closest competitor, m0NESY.
Spare a thought for magnojez, though, who was the highest-rated player in the final and continued to prove he belongs in tier one with a 1.22 series of his own.
