In the past few years, Jimpphat has come out of his shell in tier one CS. His reward for that? Being asked the most bizarre questions in all of Counter-Strike
Back when Jimpphat was first promoted to the main MOUZ roster, I interviewed him for BLIX.gg and it did not go well. He was understandably very shy, and I imagine we'd both prefer that interview was never seen by anyone ever again.
Jimpphat isn't like that in 2026, though. He's much more confident now, and as it turns out, a pretty funny guy, too.
So what do I do when I'm given eight minutes on a media day with a funny pro? I ask them the strangest questions in Counter-Strike, and they always manage to come out with sh-t that I can't even comprehend.

What's your first memory of playing Counter-Strike?
I was playing at my uncle's place, I think. He had a PC and I played it there for the first time. It was CS:Source, I think.
If you weren't a professional player, what do you think you'd be doing with your life right now?
It's a good question. I always wanted to be like a lawyer. But yeah, I don't know, maybe not that. I would be jobless, maybe like a plumber, I don't know.
Since you became a pro player, what's been your favorite memory?
I think playing in the Cologne final 2025. We got wrecked by Spirit 3-0, no chance, but it was still good. It was a good memory.
Who are the five hardest players you've ever played against?
Five hardest players. ZywOo, m0NESY, FalleN — IGLs, like the whole team basically, I don't know. And then the fifth one... who will I say for the fifth one? I would say NiKo.
If you could play with one player from history who is now retired, who would that be?
Let me think... Dosia. The sex god.
What's your favorite block on Minecraft?
Obsidian. Hard to break - I'm like obsidian.

No.
Well, if you did have a number, what number would you choose and why?
Very interesting. I would say number 7.
What's the reason?
It's a nice number. I like 7, it's clean. Just 7.
Out of all the players you've been on a team with - if you had to pick one of them to win a 1v1 clutch to save the world, which player would you pick and why?
Xyp9x is good. But I play with Wciadia - he's really good at clutching.
A different all-or-nothing scenario: You and one of your current teammates are stranded on a deserted island. Which one of those teammates do you have the best chance of surviving with, and why?
I would say Wicadia again. We have good chemistry. We are two dumb people - two negatives make one positive, so maybe that way it will work.
But what about the teammate you have the worst chance of surviving with?
I think XANTARES is just smoking 24/7, and I think he would just be enjoying the time and not wanting to get off the island. He would be smoking like 20 packs a day, so I would just die there.
When you're all chilling together, who do you let play the music? Who's got the best music taste?
Actually, I would say w0xic. I don't know about the others that much, but sometimes I hear w0xic - he listens to a lot of Turkish songs, but he also listens to some international songs, which are good.
If you could live on any map in the Counter-Strike map pool - the seven that are currently played - which map would you live on and why?
Terrible options to choose from, but I would say Inferno. It's a cosy map -there's the kitchen, you can go to church, you can do whatever you want. I would be Inferno.
It's got everything you need, man. Okay, so the most important question out of all of them: are you a dog person or a cat person?
I'm a dog person.
Do you have any dogs?
I have one dog, yes.
What's your dog's name, and what type of dog is it?
His name is Rocco. He's a mixed breed of - I don't know what the English name is, but there's this Chinese breed - he's a mix of that and something else. We don't know, because it wasn't from our old dog or something, you know, so we don't know. And he's 12 years old.
If you were turned into one animal, which animal would you hope you were turned into?
I could be a horse.
Is there any reason for that?
Just horse.
But what if you were turned into a goldfish? What would you do then?
Then I would be really depressed, I think. My life would be sad.
