Potential interview
Following the obliteration of FaZe on the Major final stage, we had the chance to briefly speak with launders. Y’know, because the man definitely hasn’t spoken enough today.
It also turns out that what he really wants is his own bathroom.
For those who were in attendance, you may have noticed that the Scraunders duo were casting from within the arena itself, flanked by seats on all sides. We’ve been to a lot of events, and it’s often the case that the casters are separated from the rest of the crowd; certainly a lot more than they were here, anyway.
It was a pretty cool setup, but we asked him which setup he prefers, and why.
“I would say the box because then we can, like, go to the bathroom—there were 200 guys in there. You have to sneak in and out, not really wanting to sign autographs.”
Honestly, we get it.
He did say that “all the fans are super respectful, and that energy of the building is what makes stadium casting so special. The closer we are to people, the better,” so it’s not all bad.
Just like us, launders believed in the magic of the FaZe bullshit. He had FaZe in his Pick’Ems, and he told us that FaZe “have beaten Vitality before in playoffs; they beat them at this Major on Nuke, which they did again in the finals. I thought there definitely was a chance.”
Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. launders’ Pick’Ems were ruined (just like most people’s, we guess), but hey, we got some great Counter-Strike.
