Erm, Liquid?

This just isn’t the move anyone expected you to make.

Alright, they haven’t made any move yet, but the rumour is that cadiaN will be the one out of Team Liquid first, with his future being decided after IEM Dallas.

Not YEKINDAR, not skullz, but cadiaN. The guy who was the IGL of one of the best teams in the world a few months ago. Yeah, he’s the problem in this team.

YEKINDAR has been pretty cheeks since… well, pick a time. 2023? 2022? It’s been a while since he’s been any good, really - probably at least since he started IGLing himself. skullz is decent, but not really shown he’s a tier one player, at least in the roles he’s in.

Don’t get us wrong; cadiaN isn’t blameless for Liquid’s issues either. The team has never truly clicked under his tutelage and his AWPing on CS2 isn’t much to write home about either. He’s not not a problem, but surely he’s worth a gamble more than YEKINDAR.

This team hasn’t really had a real star for a while, and that’s not on cadiaN.

Quite who is going to take over the reigns isn’t yet announced. They would probably need an AWPer, but they also kind of need an IGL. They also need a superstar rifler.

We don’t think this will be the only move, let’s put it that way.
