Team Liquid decided not to commit to a European roster, and part of that was probably so they could get into the easier Americas RMR over the scary European RMR.

Yeah, that worked.

Liquid muscled past BESTIA but fell to the hands of FURIA - before bouncing back with a quick 2-0 over BOSS. Nothing too unexpected, and until now, quite simple.

The issue is that 3-2 isn’t good enough in NA - so they need to beat Complexity or this experiment has failed. Team Liquid cannot afford to not qualify out of North America.

But North America can’t afford to not have Complexity, either.

Team Liquid betrayed NA. NA fans will claim Liquid to hang on to the past, but this is civil war, and it’s time to back your men. Complexity stood tall in times of need and went back to North America, as Liquid jumped ship.

Complexity are North America’s greatest, all-American heroes. They have to qualify from the Americas RMR just to give NA fans some hope.

They will put on a brave face if Liquid qualify and pretend they’re just as loyal to NA as Complexity. Liquid won’t care; they did what they had to stay afloat, but in a civil war, there’s only one NA team.

Which is exactly why us Europeans want Team Liquid to win, right?

Do you see the issue? The Americas isn’t big enough for the both of ‘em, and neither has failure as an option.

This is one of the highest stakes games you can watch this year. Get strapped in.
