As the Major Playoffs kick into high gear, it’s time to preview the last 2 quarterfinal showdowns.

We’ve got Eternal Fire vs. NAVI and MOUZ vs. G2.

Absolute bangers.

On one side, it seems Eternal Fire finally made the jump to tier one. The rookie Wicadia is popping off, the seasoned veteran IGL Maj3r is feeling like never before and XANTARES… well, let’s just say there’s a peek named after the guy for a reason. EF are poised to make their mark on CS2 with this historic Major Playoffs debut.

But it won’t be a walk in the park.

Despite some shaky performances in the Elimination Stage, NAVI clinched their Playoffs spot on the back of huge showings from JLegend and xQc’s brother. If the dynamic duo maintains their top form, and iM decides to turn on his monitor, the veteran organization certainly has a chance of dismantling the Turks.

On the other side, we have one of the youngest teams in this Major taking on the prodigious m0NESY and crew. Drawing parallels, we feel like NiKo and iM find themselves in similar positions. They’re both exceptional players facing a bit of a slump. To help their team shine through, they have to step it up.

Even with the young AWPer’s brilliance, there’s only so much carrying one player can do.

Despite losing their star player frozen, MOUZ powered through the Elimination Stage with a 3-0 record.

It doesn’t really matter if you lose your star when you’ve got a bunch of other top-tier talent just waiting for the opportunity, right?

Well, it can’t get any more top-tier than Jimpphat, who carried MOUZ through the last-16 phase, boasting a remarkable 1.50 rating across 4 maps. With his first Major Playoffs appearance on the horizon, all eyes are on the 17-year-old phenom.

Remember last Major’s Playoffs? Well, Copenhagen now hosts one of the most stacked Playoffs Stages ever.

We used to pray for times like these.
