Legacy roster update
…because even if you miss, you’ll land in the stars.
That’s how we’d sum up the roller coaster of a transfer season Legacy has had. After reportedly trying to sign about half of South America, they’ve finally landed on an Argentinian to be the final puzzle piece.
Their recent rise to stardom unfortunately exposed the two main weaknesses on Legacy - n1ssim and saadzin. We’re sure it’s tough cutting the players who helped you find initial success, but Legacy fortunately didn’t beat around the bush.
FaZe, take note.
But it does seem Legacy somewhat overestimated how attractive a landing spot their team is, as their initial targets didn’t seem to bite. nqz and try were initially both on the radar for the AWP spot, but they missed out on the former to MIBR.
Legacy then wanted to get them back by swooping in to steal insani, a move which the young superstar rifler rejected. Next on the list was BESTIA’s tomaszin, but again - no dice.
Given the history between the two orgs in the Austin Major, wouldn’t that just be the most wonderful bit of irony?
Finally, as of this week, the team have managed to land on a final roster. try joins to fill the AWP role, and… n1ssim comes back?
Yep, n1ssim is the new chrisJ, which, if history is anything to go by, means he’ll be on the team for the next half-decade at least. Let’s hope he doesn’t repeat his Dutch forerunner’s Twitter habits, though.
Must be awkward coming back into the office after that transfer saga, but to be fair, n1ssim is an alright player, so we reckon he’ll get on just fine. Legacy shot for the moon, and missed, but we think they still land in a really interesting spot for next season.
