Even if Falcons are turning the world around, Spirit are standing sturdy in their spot.

That’s at least according to chopper, who has basically said ‘we’re not making any changes until before the Major, and probably not after either’, which is… well, it’s a weird amount of foresight and seems a bit presumptuous.

If they lose every single game between now and the end of Shanghai, we have a feeling they might make a change. Though in his defence, he did say ‘unlikely’, we’re just being a bit of a dick.

He suggests that the backbone of the team is still learning how to play with each other, and they’re all so young and haven’t even reached peak form yet.

If donk hasn’t hit his peak yet, and Katowice wasn’t that, then we would be very surprised.

chopper also blamed himself for the poor showing at Cologne for not bringing the good vibes, but also says there’s ‘nothing to analyse’ from the event because Spirit didn’t even show up.

Which is… totally fair.

Overall, it’s an interesting enough interview. The fact that Spirit aren’t looking to make changes is the main takeaway, especially with Perfecto available.

Brave, we’d say.
