Holy donk.

This email marks the 500th edition of the TLDR newsletter. Think about how silly that is for a minute.

We’ve been making stupid jokes, barely covering news and brightening up your email inboxes from the darkness of LinkedIn notifications and Just Eat deals for 500 editions.

Maybe that’s just our inbox.

We started in August of 2019, according to our records, which means when we started:

Team Liquid were #1 in the world (with Stewie2k)

Aleksib was on ENCE

tarik and Brehze were on NRG, 5th in the world

Zeus, s1mple, flamie, electroNic and Boombl4 was the NAVI line-up

G2 were French, with Lucky and kennyS

NEO and olofmeister were on FaZe

chrisJ was on MOUZ with ropz and frozen

North still existed

GeT_RiGhT was on NIP

VALORANT didn’t exist

The GamerLegion line-up was, and we’re not kidding you here, dennis, ScreaM, HS, hampus and nawwk. Cursed.

Since we started, North have shut down, the whole world shut down due to COVID, the SG was found to be overpowered and nerfed, a whole new Counter-Strike has come out, we’ve had six Majors with six different winners and donk has been born.

Okay, that last one isn’t true. donk was 12 when we started.

We’ve seen and covered the end and start of hundreds of careers in the last five years, every event that’s happened, every single piece of news. You could have taken months out of CS and still been up to date with everything.

We’ve never missed an edition, and at times given you some extra ones during big events. We’ve watched countless hours of Counter-Strike and brought you dedicated fellas and gals along with us for the ride, and we wouldn’t change it for the world.

And yet, not a single one of you has given us €100m for our services. What gives?
