Two new orgs in Impact
ESL Impact is back this weekend with IEM Dallas, and two big teams have two big orgs just in time.
Pigeons, otherwise known as ex-Nigma Galaxy, otherwise known as the best women’s team in the world, have been picked up by Imperial.
You might know this team as the one who won absolutely everything for about three years in the women’s scene, but they’ve recently swapped out their IGL vilga for zAAz, who is widely accepted as one of the founding mothers of the women’s scene.
They recently two finals to NAVI Javelins, though their grasp on the ESL Impact trophy is, as of yet, unwavering - and the removal of any financial and business concerns with being unsigned might put them back in pole position.
In the meantime, TSM have entered the game by signing Shimmer, who were for the most part solidified as the second best team in North America.
This cannot go worse than their main team, anyway.
TSM Shimmer are far less likely to actually win, but have been slowly rising through the ranks and if they were ever going to make a run any time soon, Dallas offers them a pretty big chance. Hometown advantage and a new org - vibes are at an all-time high.
In theory. In practice, being on TSM could just be soul-sucking.
