OG, Liquid and Cloud9 give up a limb to jigSAW.

If you thought EG had too many players, you were right. But TYLOO are running them close, so we thought it was worth bringing up.
Plus, we got a recap from BLAST Spring Showdown where a Portuguese SAW delivered some delightful upsets.
TYLOO run their business in… an interesting way.
Expectant of being China’s premier team, the management are not afraid to chop and change. If anything, they relish it.
The result is a bloated bench the likes of which you have not seen before — and they’ve just added three more names to it.
advent, kaze, and aumaN (who only signed two months ago) have joined DANK1NG, aristo, and Freeman on the team’s inactive list with a seventh player, somebody, on loan to Rare Atom but still under contract.
In their place, TYLOO have recalled Moseyuh, called up lyrics3 from academy team Lord Rabbit — yeah, we didn’t know they had an academy team either, don’t worry — and zdr from the academy team below Lord Rabbit.
zdr still doesn’t even have an age, face, or map played on HLTV, he’s that obscure.
It is a trial, for now, but, truth be told? This ultra-youthful squad is a breath of fresh air after we had to watch advent drop 0.75 ratings at every LAN for the last six years.
They’ll miss his in-game leadership, but talents like JamYoung and Moseyuh are ones to keep an eye on and TYLOO will keep rebuilding until the stumble on the right baby formula. Let’s just hope it doesn’t take too long.
TYLOO’s new trial roster:
🇨🇳 Mercury
🇨🇳 JamYoung
🇨🇳 Moseyuh (trial)
🇨🇳 lyrics3 (AWP, IGL, trial)
🇨🇳 zdr (trial)
TYLOO’s bench:
🇨🇳 advent
🇨🇳 aumaN
🇨🇳 Freeman
🇨🇳 DANK1NG
🇨🇳 aristo
🇺🇸 kaze
CS2 just hit 1.5M concurrent players, a new record. But the question is: How good do you think it is?

Would you like to play a game?
It’s called “try and kill arrozdoce”. If you succeed, you qualify for the Spring Final, but if you fail, you get your head ripped off.
It’s quite simple, really, but many have fallen before you.
SAW have been on a phenomenal run recently; many thought their Major qualification was the culmination of months of hard work, but it was just the start.
SAW have won their last eight BO3s in a row since starting 0-2 at the RMR. That’s absurd. It’s not like they’ve played total bums, either. NIP, fnatic, Monte before BLAST, and Liquid, Cloud9 and OG at BLAST.
Well, they’re not great teams either, but fair play.
Liquid were first to kneel before arrozdoce and co. at BLAST Showdown, with the aforementioned rifler going berserk to kick out the North American (ish) team. Cloud9 were next, and SAW stood tall to kick them out too.
OG were the last team who could stop the charge of SAW at BLAST, but without HeavyGod they were left hapless, defenceless and weak in the face of Mr Rice Pudding (which is basically what arrozdoce translates to).
What’s a God to a (frankly, mediocre) dessert?
SAW’s winstreak continues - and if it keeps continuing, they might just be a threat at the Major.
They’ve got more of a chance of winning it than NIP, Liquid, Astralis and Falcons, anyway - and probably all the teams who did qualify out of the Americas.
They’ll be in London for the Spring Final, and we’re bloody excited to watch Mr Rice Pudding take on the world again.
He’s really, really good. Even if rice pudding is a bit rubbish.
The Showdown is over, and the dust has cleared. Who succeeded, and who bombed out? We’re looking at you, NA.
Complexity and Liquid were joined in the biggest losers camp by Imperial and Falcons - ending s1mple’s loan tenure prematurely. We’d also mention NIP here if bombing out in last wasn’t completely expected for them.
The mid category includes but isn’t limited to, Heroic and Cloud9 — who at least have the Major to look forward to — unlike BIG and Monte.
But enough with the disappointments. Who showed out?
OG’s HeavyGood showed strong form with 1.41 rating and great plays like this glorious deagle 4k. But to he detriment of his team, he had to sit out on the semi-final against SAW due to “health reasons”. Stand-in, s0und, couldn’t fill his shoes - despite good effort - leading to an 0-2 loss against SAW.
Another highlight was donk. He dropped a 1.53 rating and at times seemed to toy around with his opponents (look at that grin at the end). In the semi’s, Spirit were brought to 3 maps by upstarts Metizport, a Swedish team featuring a host of Young Ninjas alumni. But the Russians would prevail in the second and third map after losing Metizport’s pick of Vertigo.
Spirit have now won 13 of their past 14 matches (!) Teams at CS2 major, beware.
Here’s how the Showdown shook down:
1-2. 🇷🇺 Team Spirit - $20.000 & Spring Final
1-2. 🇵🇹 SAW - $20.000 & Spring Final
3-4. 🇸🇪 Metizport - $12.500
3-4. 🇪🇺 OG - $12.500
5-8. 🇩🇪 BIG - $7.500
5-8. 🇺🇦 Monte - $7.000
5-8. 🇩🇰 Heroic - $7.500
5-8. 🇷🇺 Cloud9 - $7.500
