Stabbi are facing their doom (cadiaN).

It’s the grudge match of the century, and it’s all a distraction from the fact that Stewie2k - yes, that one - is going to be playing for G2. For some reason.

Okay, we believe Anders now, this has to be a simulation.
There is no other explanation for what we’re about to tell you, Stewie2K is going to be playing with G2. Okay yeah, sure as a stand-in for one event, because HooXi can’t make it. Okay and yeah it’s technically not confirmed Stewie will be the guy standing in, but according to Dust2 he’s on the list, and Stew himself has alluded to it already.
It’s not as insane when you factor in Jackz, who would’ve stood in normally, isn’t allowed to play because he signed up for the qualifier with a random mix. But still, Stewie?
Fortunately for us, not everything in the scene has gone bonkers, just look at NIP, back to being Swedish… WAIT NIP HAS GONE BACK TO BEING SWEDISH? Yes, sort of, yes and no.
NIP has finished the signing of Isak from GamerLegion, which means their HLTV flag is going to be Swedish again. But they’re not fully Swedish yet, since r1nkle and alex are on the roster. But we imagine Swedish CS fans don’t care, they have NIP back for better or worse.
For IEM Dallas G2 will field:
🇧🇦 NiKo
🇧🇦 huNter-
🇺🇸 Stewie2K
🇷🇸 Nexa
🇷🇺 m0NESY
NIP are now:
🇸🇪 REZ
🇸🇪 isak
🇸🇪 maxster
🇺🇦 r1nkle
🇪🇸 alex
Much like their content, ESL Pro League’s Playoffs never fail to deliver.
After putting Australia back on the CS map with a historic Playoffs qualification, FlyQuest kicked off their campaign with a 2-1 victory against BetBoom, advancing to Round 2.
Facing Team Liquid next, the underdogs gave cadiaN and co. a serious run for their money. FlyQuest only lost by a narrow three-round difference in two of the three maps played.
Promising showing from the Aussie boys. Sometimes, all it takes is a bit of tough love. Hey, no judgment here. If it works, it works.
On the opposite side of the bracket, not even a wave of food poisoning stopped Complexity from powering through Virtus.Pro to secure a spot in the semifinals.
We’ve been hearing rumors here and there, but now it’s pretty much official. The bald eagle is on the hunt.
EliGE has been in stellar form, fueling NA’s hopes with an impressive 1.36 rating across 10 maps. During the VP series alone, he managed to put up a crazy 1.75 rating performance. Wild stats.
In related news, FaZe got their revenge on Major winners NAVI with a commanding 2-0 sweep to lock quarters.
Also, in typical JI TU fashion, the team found themselves out of the playoffs of another big event after a reverse sweep at the hands of MOUZ.
Please, send help.

We’re talking about jobless players this week, and we don’t mean ourselves. Logan and Elliott go into where blameF could end up, and whether YEKINDAR will stay on Liquid.

It’s finally here. The grudge match we’ve all been waiting for.
Months of build-up. Literal minutes of story-building. More than one storyline. It’s wild. Liquid vs Astralis. cadiaN vs. Stabbi. And probably something else worth mentioning.
You’re not here for anything else, though.
cadiaN has been dreaming of this chance. The chance to stick it to the players who - at least, he feels - wronged him on HEROIC. The duo who let him down, kicked him, and backstabbed the organisation are at his door, waiting for him to come outside. Allegedly, at least.
The Pro League (sorry, ESL Pro League, for the sticklers) is well into the playoffs, and today’s quarter-finals kick off with the best game of the whole event. Liquid have been shaky but largely a lot better than before, and Astralis have been very good so far - but none of that matters.
There’s a saying in football that ‘form goes out of the window on derby day’, which is largely nonsensical, but in a grudge match like this it really doesn’t matter who has been better at the event.
It only matters who wins here. Does the community get to dunk on the two most universally-accepted villains, or does cadiaN suffer another crushing blow at the hands of stavn and jabbi?
We can’t wait.
Realistically, it doesn’t matter who wins. They’re both probably going to lose to the winner of Vitality vs FaZe.
At most events, that would be a showstopper. At this one, it’s literally a showstopper - the show kinda stops when the Liquid game finishes.
Fiiiiiiine, we’ll find some way to enjoy two of the best teams in the world playing each other. If you insist.
