Stewie2k is genuinely standing in for G2.

donk might have won the battle, but the war against MOUZ was one step too far, TYLOO are switching ANOTHER player and 5W have signed 5 ‘L’s.

We didn’t just make it up, Stewie is actually standing in for G2. Does NiKo plan to control his body when he dies?
HooXi won’t be attending IEM Dallas, and before you start thinking of NiKo power grab conspiracy theories, he’s just attending his sister's wedding. And we swear it’s not a Neymar situation. So, who do you get as a stand-in? Someone from America, with a winning pedigree and experience on international teams… Tar- Sorry, we mean Stewie2K.
The smoke criminal will be making a sudden reappearance in tier 1, having been dormant for a while, only having an unsuccessful stint with Legacy that ended on the 5th.
We’re quite curious about who’ll be IGLing the team and bringing in some conspiracies. Might this be used for a trial if HooXi is actually still needed? If it's Nexa, HooXi should be especially worried, if it’s NiKo… well we’ve seen this play out. In any case, we’re not quite sure what Stewie plans to do. Maybe HuNter and NiKo will use some string to control his arms, HuNter on the movement, and NiKo on the aim. Maybe this will work.
We can picture it now: NiKo and HuNter both on the entries, and Stew somehow dropping 30. Where do we gamble our savings on G2 to win Dallas?
The transfer market is heating up, and after a couple of blockbuster deals, we’re witnessing a wave of smaller moves.
For starters, a new organization is stepping into the fray.
India’s 5W Gaming has announced the signing of ex-ITB IGL Thomas, REDSTAR, h4rn, joel, and pr1metapz. Honestly, this feels like a very random team. Without a doubt one of the CS squads of all time.
Sweden has been home to a bunch of shake-ups as well, culminating in a civil war. We’re talking about Metizport and NIP. After the Ninjas unveiled their completed roster, Metizport made their move and announced the signing of Plopski, filling the vacancy left by susp’s benching.
Shortly after Metiz’s announcement, the two teams clashed in RES Regional Series 4, with Metizport emerging victorious in a 2-0 series. Promising start for the best Swedish team.
After parting ways with advent and aumaN, Tyloo has decided to shake things up further by showing kaze the door.
Ultimately, the Chinese org still has an entire roster on the bench, with Freeman, DANK1NG, aristo, Moseyuh, and lyrics3 sidelined. We’re very curious to see what Tyloo is cooking.
NA also saw some action as FaNg and coach Axed left BOSS, with the first opting to join Party Astronauts. Solid pickup for the team.
As the player break draws closer, Rostermania enthusiasts like ourselves are starting to get a taste of what’s to come.
Exciting times ahead.

If you're a long-time reader, you may remember our several calls to beta test ✨ something new ✨ that we’ve been cooking up for a long time.
That something is finally ready for primetime and we’re excited to share it with you as one of the first.
We call it Bootcamp, and it’s a six-part course designed to help any Counter-Strike player access the essential wisdom and techniques required to play competitive CS at the highest level.
It’s the guide we wish we had early in our CS journey. The guide that might’ve just helped us avoid getting hardstuck in silver. Tough ask.
Some highlights:
Bootcamp is the brainchild of Ty “simba” Sherback, our in-house CS expert. With 7000+ hours in the game and 13 seasons of ESEA under his belt, Ty actually knows how to play the game, unlike the rest of us.
So, if you’re tired of endless grinding, skip the basic tutorials and one-off TikTok tips and enroll in Bootcamp today.
Or share it with a friend who really needs it.

Sorry, fellow old people. Counter-Strike is a zoomer’s game now.
It’s not just about donk – once again, the MVP – but also about the fact that the only team who could stop him was the also exceedingly young MOUZ.
After Spirit donked Falcons 2-0 in the semi-final, they came up against a MOUZ team who had quite comfortably dispatched HEROIC. degster and NertZ had their moments in the semi but just couldn’t overcome MOUZ’ depth of talent.
Falcons barely laid a glove on Spirit after the first handful of rounds, though. donk was moved onto the A site of Vertigo on the CT side rather than the B site (where he famously was weakest out of any of the maps), and he dropped a 16-kill half.
Normal.
donk was also the only Spirit member to go positive in what was a very decisive showing from MOUZ. He somehow managed 102.6 ADR in an 0-3 loss, as siuhy on the other side went berserk, dropping 52 kills in the series, with xertioN backing him up closely.
Wait, donk dropped 100 ADR in an 0-3 loss?
xertioN should definitely take a lot of credit, though. He was superb in the semi-final and all tournament long; a boisterous battering ram of a player who bounded through defences time and time again to find openings and win rounds single-handedly.
We don’t want to say it’s because there is no arena, but… well, MOUZ has won back-to-back events without a big crowd.
If MOUZ keeps up this form, they are on the brink of being the de facto number-one team in the world, but we need to see them have some balls on the big stage to truly believe it.
Take down FaZe Clan in Dallas or Cologne, and we might just become MOUZ fan converts.
Final standings:
1st 🇪🇺 MOUZ – $300.000

3-4th 🇪🇺 HEROIC – $50.000
3-4th 🇩🇰 Falcons – $50.000
