You might still be able to collect $200 for passing go, that’s a flash at least

We’d normally go on a break together with the pro players, but AN1MO is a bellend and has decided everyone still has to work.
Something about this being a “newsletter” and the fact there’s “news”. Arsehole.
The moves are fun at least. Snax is finally gone, that’s a reason to be happy.

Haters rejoice, it seems Snax’s days in G2 are finally coming to an end.
A bizarre signing from the get go, his tenure at the helm of G2 may have seen him add a couple of trophies to his cabinet, but let’s be real here - he should have never been on the team in the first place.
With TaZ already confirmed to be leaving, Snax’s stay on the team makes even less sense, so finally the CS world (and their poor teammates) will be free from having to watch Snax and huNter- Dust2 B site holds.
As for who will be replacing him, it seems like huNter- will be the one taking up the mantle. An expected change, we also think it’s a smart decision if G2 hope to hang onto their VRS points.
And hey, it can’t be any worse than Snax.
Moving huNter- over to leadership roles also allows G2 to sign another fragger, something huNter- has been a little inconsistent at doing for a while.
KRL suggested that they had enquired about NertZ, which would have been fun had Liquid not refused to sell him. zweih was another name mentioned by the French streamer, but it seems that Nemiga’s young star will be heading to Spirit if you believe HLTV. They do tend to be correct, to be fair to them.
Spekaing of HLTV, huNter- taking up IGLing was the only part of their report. They also suggested that ENCE star xKacpersky is on G2’s list as a fifth man.
A solid choice, he’s impressed during his time in ENCE, and he’s another name that’s on the list of players set to make the step up to tier one in the next 12 months.
It’s not a perfect lineup, it probably won’t reach the same heights the former G2 core did, but it’s a start. And that’s the most important thing for G2 right now.
Of course, it could still go wrong, that would be the G2 thing to do.
AN1MO at least thinks there’s another option on the list, but you’ll have to watch the podcast to find out who that is.

As is to be expected, there’s quite a lot of teams looking to make moves in the off-season, and thank God for that, we’ve grown tired of too many underperformers.
One such team is Team Spirit, who, after their wins in Shanghai and at BLAST Bounty, we honestly thought would be the team to beat this year.
Maybe we don’t pay enough attention to history, thanks, ropz.
Fortunately, it looks like Spirit will be making at least one change, and thanks to Overdrive (Why is it normal that a Spirit employee reports on Spirit changes, btw?) we know that chopper won’t be going anywhere.
That’s 1-0 to aizyesque in this rostermania.
Instead, Overdrive is saying that magixx will be losing his spot on the team, calling time on his six year long spell on the Spirit main team. As we said earlier, HLTV reports that they’ll be targeting zweih as his replacement, which looks to be a great change after a solid Major from the youngster.
We do get the feeling he won’t be the only new face, though.
FaZe are another team set to make changes, mainly because they don’t actually have an AWPer.
It was expected that they’d be going for s1mple after his showings in Austin, but the GOAT himself has put that move in doubt by saying “sometimes is hard to go out from jail.” Yikes.
Weirdly, he’s not the only NAVI player twerking for FaZe on Twitter. KRL suggested that both iM and jL will be losing their spot on the NAVI roster, and the latter has already posted himself in a FaZe jersey.
We’re not sure he thought that one through.
The reports suggest that one of the replacements will be makazze, the star of the NAVI Junior team, but there is also a chance that Cloud9 buys the entire NAVI Junior team before that happens.
At least it won’t be as bad as their last team.
Speaking of bad teams, HooXi has signed for Astralis. We’re actually happy about that one, but we never miss an opportunity to dog on Astralis. Hopefully he can repeat the Astana heroics and actually make them watchable again. At least for the sake of device’s last few years at the top.
HEROIC are also set to make more changes than expected, they’ve benched xfl0ud and look set to finally bring nilo into the fold. We’re a bit confused by this considering the fact xfl0ud has been legitimately quite good on HEROIC, but at least we’ll finally get to see if nilo will live up to the hype.
Elsewhere, there’s been a few benchings that we don’t really care about, and we don’t think you really should either, but it is “news”. We guess.
In short - because we really don’t want to spend too much time on these moves - hampus has been benched by Metizport, chayJESUS has been benched by Imperial (with chelo potentially replacing him), sl3nd has been benched by GamerLegion, Lucaozy has benched himself over at MIBR, and nawwk has stepped down from BC.Game. Oh, and SAW have gone Portuguese again.
See? We told you they were dull.
And finally, Rare Atom have benched somebody and have replaced him with Trash.
The jokes really do write themselves.

After the longest Major of all time, it’s time to talk about our takeaways, and surprise, surprise, our hosts think Vitality are quite good.
They don’t feel the same about some of the other teams, though, and AN1MO was about to crash out at NovaH as a result of it.

Welcome to Virtus.Pro, random guy with curls!
No, seriously. Who is this dude?
The social media manager must’ve tagged the wrong person, because the guy in that video is definitely not Perfecto.
We need to address the abomination that is this announcement video before we even talk about the move.
First (and most hilarious of all), that’s not even the man they’re signing.
Second of all, this looks like someone at VP typed ‘make an announcement video’ into some sketchy free AI tool and just ran with the first thing it spit out.
Come on, guys. At least pretend you care.
And why the f-ck is he making a stone sculpture? Surely there were some better ideas floating around.
Now, our outrage doesn’t end with the terrible video.
Speaking about the actual move, if there’s one thing we’ve got to call out right away, it’s the downright criminal way VP butchered one of CIS’ best prospects.
FL4MUS spent just five months with the squad, and he looked like a shadow of his former self compared to his run in GamerLegion. Sure, comparing him to Perfecto - an experienced Major winner - makes the decision understandable*,* but VP still did him dirty.
Here’s hoping he joins a team that can really maximize his skills and get the best out of him. Perhaps it’s time to run it back?
This addition also locks in FL1T and fame, putting a stop to the rumors swirling around this week. But if those rumors were true - that they don’t really want to play for VP anymore - that’s a pretty bad omen for the team’s future.
That said, signing Perfecto is a solid move, probably the best they could’ve made.
Well, aside from -electronic, of course, but it looks like he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
And now, he’s one step closer to completing his master plan for CS domination. Just three more very specific signings to go: b1t, s1mple, and Boombl4.
Sounds like a Major-winning lineup to us.
