Stewie2k has been a naughty boy.

nawwk is back and there’s no device in sight, fnatic get hatewatched out of Bucharest and OG are changing players. Again.

We got off the Aurora train a long time ago, and them winning PGL Bucharest won’t see us get back on it, but if they don’t…
Seriously, there’s no excuses this time, lads. You should be by far the best team left in the event, and we’ll even let it slide that you almost f-cked it in a 2-2 game against Astralis with ruggah standing in for device, just win this event.
We can’t handle the MAJ3R excuse post if you don’t.
The biggest threat to Aurora finally winning an event is Liquid, who are still quite average.
They made it to the playoffs in a convincing enough fashion. But EliGE has struggled, and that’s a worrying sign. This is a team that should always be 3-0ing a field like this.
Rounding out the playoffs are HEROIC and GamerLegion, who will battle it out to see which of them has fallen off the least; paiN and Legacy, who will battle it out to see which team gets the best view of FURIA at the top of the BR CS mountain; and SAW and B8, who should both be departing the competition in the quarter-finals as they face Liquid and Aurora respectively.
Big emphasis on “should”, we have no faith in either one of those teams to win as favourites.
PGL Bucharest continues today with an early start for qualifiers and the last game of the semis at 18:00 CET / 13:00 ET.
The BO5 grand final takes place tomorrow. See you back in your inbox on Monday with a recap.

National teams really are just dead, aren’t they?
We won’t pretend that it doesn’t have it’s benefits (we love you, FURIA) but it is quite sad to see a team like Metizport, who prided themselves on their commitment to Swedish CS, move away from that because they can’t actually be competitive with a Swedish team.
Well, it at least not one with L00m1 on it, anyway.
Fortunately for anyone who actually watches Metizport, though, the team has now removed their awkward AWPer from the team. They’ve replaced him with nawwk, who for once in his career isn’t being cut thanks to a much better player joining his team.
In fact, this time he’s the much better player joining, and the difference in level between him and L00m1 might genuinely be greater than it was between him and device or s1mple
And we’re being serious with that.
nawwk will be joined on Metizport by Partizan player Dragon, who has joined on loan until the end of the year as plopski takes a break for “personal reasons”.
nawwk is known for being a bit unfortunate when it comes to being replaced on teams, so we ask you this:

We got a little bit unhinged this week. 60 minutes of no apologies. No refunds. Largely because the podcast is free to consume on whatever platform you choose.
Here’s what to expect on this week’s Overtime on Inferno:

Sweden isn’t the only Scandi country taking a battering in this week’s roster news, OG have also announced that their two Danes, Chr1zN and nicoodoz, will be moving to the bench.
A surprise given that nicoodoz is one of tier two’s most consistent players and Chr1zN is one of the best young IGLs in CS, it’s hard to imagine that the two players being benched didn’t come down to a mutual decision. Especially when you see this interview from last month.
Chr1zN, as YouM3 pointed out on Twitter, should be looked to leverage his availability into a move up the ladder. Still a relatively unknown prospect at tier one, he’s fragged at a solid level since joining OG, and he was a big reason as to why they managed to claw their way back up the rankings in 2025.
We’re not sure where he could end up, Astralis was the obvious spot before HooXi, but considering he’s former MOUZ NXT and MOUZ have had some pretty dodgy T sides at points this year, a new IGL could be what they need to finally take the last step as a team.
As for nicoodoz, he’s now a very known commodity. A side-grade is the absolute best hope for him, and even then, we’re not sure where that would be.
Anywhere except VALORANT, we suppose.
Oh, he said he’s down to switch? Oh dear…
Anyway, OG are reportedly set to be replacing one (or both, we guess?) of their outgoing players with cadiaN.
And for once, we’re genuinely speechless.

We live life by three simple rules.
Always ban Nuke against Finnish people, never send nudes that aren’t temporary and only bet what you cam afford to lose.
That last one becomes a lot easier when it’s not your skins you’re betting with.
Stewie2k was accused by some pussy (we promise that’s a safe click) of gambling away skins he’d borrowed off of said feline, which at first seems like it could just be the ramblings of a madman.
But it kept spiralling.
The accuser had receipts, and he wasn’t the only one. Everyone seemingly had a bad interaction with him.
As kassad rightfully points out, he shouldn’t have needed the money. He was on a wedge at EG and has won a pretty silly amount of prize money.
Quite how he ran out of money is anyone’s guess. We couldn’t run out of a million dollars if we tried. Please test us on this. Please.
The good news is that Stewie won’t be gambling again. Ah. Just one problem. That tweets is from 2020.
Stewie tried to get out of it, but was too lazy in faking his image that it just didn’t work, and nobody seems to be on his side any more.
When even NA has given up on Stewie, it’s over.
Still, we got some jokes out of it.
Before he was making dodgy deals and gambling his fortune away, Stewie was actually a pretty handy player and won an Intel Grand Slam with Liquid in 2019.
But what was his first tier one tournament win?

In the last newsletter, we asked you what is the strangest roster move of 2025?
We think you lot may have forgotten just how shocking one of these moves was when it happened…
Finally, one speedreader willt12, replied and suggested: “GamerLegion signing Kursy, I’m not sure what they ever saw in him.”
Trivia answer: Stewie’s first tier one event win came at ESL Pro League Season 4, where Cloud9 beat SK 2-1 in the final.
