It’s Major time, baby.

The Major is now here. FaZe. NIP. fnatic. Legacy. Jame and the Funky Bunch. They all enter the competition in Stage 1, and if they don’t all make it through, we’re going to be having some conversations. Let’s hope they’re about fnatic.

Seems like FL4MUS is bouncing out of contract jail.
If you understand the reference we’re making here, thanks. If not, seriously, don’t worry about it.
Ultimately, regardless of how this team ends up, this is great for the former GamerLegion man. He looked great while he was the star of his old team, and what VP did to him was, for lack of a better word, absolute horsesh-t.
An aggressive rifler with the capacity to be the genuine star of a team, FL4MUS is the move fnatic should have been making when benching CYPHER, so even if OG only have him on loan it’s a real coup for them - especially because the potential buyout is supposedly already agreed.
A lot still rests with cadiaN’s ability to get back to his old levels when it comes to AWPing and calling, and we still have our doubts there, but we’re starting to like this roster. adamb, spooke, and arrozdoce was an already solid rifling core, and FL4MUS can only improve that.
Of course, it is still OG - something will go wrong - but for once, we actually hope it doesn’t.
We must be getting into the Christmas spirit.

Just when you think Wildcard couldn’t possibly sink any lower, they pull something like this. At least we can now confidently say ChatGPT isn’t making decisions for them anymore, because not even an AI could come up with a move this sh-tty.
After a chaotic summer - where phzy and stanislaw were removed from the active roster only to be brought back later, while fr3nd and susp were dropped along the way - Wildcard has hammered the final nail in their own coffin by letting go their entire roster.
JBa, phzy, and stanislaw have been placed on the transfer list, Peeping has been benched, and F1KU’s contract is set to expire at the end of the month.
Since their peak at the Shanghai Major, Wildcard have never looked the same, nor have they shown the level of CS they displayed back then. stanislaw proved he could build a competitive roster in NA and elevate them to a level most regional teams can only dream of reaching. But instead of backing him and his vision, Wildcard simply gave up on it, catastrophic decision after catastrophic decision.
Now, with the team slipping back into irrelevance on the back of a “from the ground up” rebuild, it’s tough to imagine a world where Wildcard ever recapture the success they once found and so carelessly threw away.
For promising talents like JBa and phzy, this is probably the best thing that could’ve happened to them. They are finally able to escape the hell hole and look for real opportunities elsewhere - something they shouldn’t have much trouble finding after the Major. This also means there’s now a VRS-ranked core on the market. Do you guys happen to know anyone looking for one?
One thing is factual: ever since Amouranth left the org, everything has been going downhill. Coincidence? We think not.

Logan’s back and he’s here to help you brush up on every team ahead of the Major. You can also play along and place a bet on how many times Sam can say “Here’s the thing” in one episode. Spoiler alert: It’s a lot.

He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice, he’s gonna find out if you’ve been pugging all night.
Counter-Claus is coming, to town.
Christmas has come early, and unlike the Scrooges and Grinches (one of whom works for TLDR, it transpires - you’ll see on Wednesday), we heart the Major. Every game. No matter the standard.
We will be there from day one until the final. Just like Brazilian fans.
We will be watching The Huns vs RED Canids in an 0-2 game. We will be watching Lynn Vision in the middle of the work day. We will be ignoring our responsibilities from now until mid December.
It all kicks off today. 1PM in Europe, some other time for heathens. B8 vs M80 or Imperial vs Rare Atom. Pick one. Or both. Dual monitor action. Just watch it. Do not move.
Then you’ve got Legacy vs FlyQuest (Legacy should be an absolute nailed-on 3-0 team) and PARIVISION vs The Huns (which signals the resurrection of Jesus in tier one CS, which we know is the wrong holiday, but it was an easy joke to make).
Look, these aren’t absolute thigh rubbers. They’re not nipple fiddlers. They’re not aphrodisiac games. But they are must-watch because it’s the Major.
By TLDR’s decree, you must watch.
NIP vs NRG are next too, very fun! Probably a better watch than GamerLegion vs Fluxo, but we will watch anyway.
Then you can either hatewatch fnatic against RED Canids or watch FaZe lose a BO1 to Lynn Vision. Your choice. Fun either way.
We bloody love the Major. You’re going to too.
Merry Countermas, everyone.
Normally, we put in a joke poll here, and depending on what time you read this, you might be able to cheat a little, but we’re genuinely curious as to what you think:
