And America aren’t even the culprits (yet)

Don’t worry, Denmark, Greenland is safe (for now). Your CS team isn’t, though.
Astralis are going international in the same week that also saw Portugal lose their number one team and Senzu make us all scratch their heads. Ah, rostermania, you’re finally starting to get interesting.

The BC.Game saga has finally reached its conclusion, as the organization announced the signing of SAW’s core - MUTiRiS, krazy, and aragornN - and with it, the #22 position in the global VRS.
Because this story hits so close to home, it feels dishonest not to write it in the first person, so apologies for the unusual tone.
As a Portuguese CS fan, the news is bittersweet, to say the least.
I’ve witnessed SAW’s six-year journey up to this point. From humble beginnings at local LANs and ESEA, to all the big event appearances and historic milestones like IEM Cologne 2024 and the Copenhagen Major, it’s a journey I’ll never forget.
For this era of SAW to end like this — through a purchase that appears driven more by VRS interests than sporting ambition — is difficult to process, but I suppose that’s the reality we live in today.
It’s tough not only for the players and organization, who sacrificed and fought relentlessly to reach this level, but also for the fans who truly believed in the team’s potential to elevate the Portuguese scene even further in 2026.
From the outside, it feels that if results don’t quickly follow, this lineup could look very different in just a few months, making it all for nothing.
That being said, it’s also clear that the sale of the trio - along with the transfers of story and Ag1l - marks a huge step forward for both the players and the entire national scene. With SAW alumni ewjerkz and arrozdoce already abroad, Portugal now has (or soon will have) seven players competing internationally, something that would have been unthinkable six years ago.
I’m particularly excited to see how krazy and aragornN, two youngsters who were playing small local LANs just six months ago, adapt to sharing the stage with legends like s1mple and electroNic.
As for SAW and its future, despite the massive setback of losing the entire roster, this is also a well-earned return on six years of investment and hard work. A new chapter now begins, one focused on nurturing the next generation of Portuguese talent, with new priorities and goals - and the distant hope that, one day, they’ll return to CS’ biggest stages.

Congratulations, Senzu. You’ve snatched the crown of confusion from MOUZ.
We were baffled last year when they benched siuhy after one defeat at BLAST Bounty, but we’re truly dumbfounded at whatever you’re doing right now.
To catch you all up, The MongolZ have signed cobrazera from The Huns. It’s a move we like — he’s probably the best player in Mongolia that wasn’t already on the team, and he’s young enough to grow into tier one.
Except there’s an issue — Senzu is happy to return to active duty. Just as long as it’s for another team.
So why isn’t he happy to do so for The MongolZ?
Well, it seems that he may have got too big for his boots, because he apparently wants to be an AWPer. Which, as you can see from this btrams tweet, isn’t exactly a good idea. In fact, it’s a pretty f-cking horrible one.
Where he could go is anyone’s guess. Liquid is a fate worse than death, but G2 could definitely benefit from him. There were some rumours about NAVI, but HLTV quickly called them out for being bullsh-t.
Thank God.
We guess we’ll see where he ends up or if it even pans out out for him when he does get a move, but really we just hope it doesn’t mess up The MongolZ. We saw with controlez that they could still be competitive, so maybe having a permanent figure in cobrazera will push them past that level.
Senzu is a big loss, though. It’s one we think they’ll feel for a while.
We could ask you which team you think Senzu should go to, but that’s boring, and your answers might make us think less of you. Instead, we’ll ask you this:
In last week’s edition, we asked you: Who would you like to see make a move this Winter?
Here’s what you had to say:
🟨🟨🟨🟨⬜️⬜️ 🐭 MOUZ (26,6%)
🟨⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️ 🦅 Falcons (0,6%)

We’ve got 100 Thieves and a top team ain’t one — but they have made something interesting.
Jay-Z, give us a call.
It started out with rain and gla1ve. A new IGL/coach duo who are also new to their respective roles, so whilst we’re a little apprehensive and hugely aware it’s a big risk, it’s certainly intriguing.
Of course, device did then slightly sour it. He’s way past his best now and coming off the back of the worst year of his career, but given who else they’re bringing in, is it crazy to say we’re starting to get why he’s there?
poiii is pretty exciting, looking like one of the best prospects out of Sweden, which used to be a real compliment instead of a backhanded one. Jokes aside, he’s been frying — a 1.20 rating on Alliance shows he’s probably ready for a step up.
sirah is another smart pick-up, as he looks to be another top talent with potential to grow. Once rain and device have transferred their consciousnesses into these new hands, 100T could be dangerous.
Ag1l is slightly underwhelming, though, given he was not a stand-out player on an okay SAW team. Maybe that was harsh, maybe he’s simply whelming, but maybe he doesn’t need to be anything more than that. Fifth pieces rarely are. So maybe he’s just the fifth, slightly whelming piece to tie this roster together.
That’s until he’s obviously replaced in six months time, of course.
The fact is, this team can be dangerous. Or at least dangerous to like, 10-20th ranking teams. We’re not expecting fireworks right away, but this does look like some astute teambuilding that could eventually grind its way into a real threat.
100T, our interest is piqued.

Oh, Denmark. Do you remember how mighty you used to be?
Six of you made the top 20 in 2018, four the following year. For the past two years, however, zero. Not one.
Greatness, it seems, has left your country. And now, in a sense, so has your greatest ever team, too.
Due to a distinct lack of talent in the region, Astralis have chosen to go international. They’re expected to be signing phzy and ryu, keeping a hold of their Danish flag on HLTV by retaining HooXi, jabbi, and Staehr.
It’s sad, but ultimately it’s for the best. With device gone — and bad enough himself — there really wasn’t a Danish AWPer Astralis could have gone for. A stavn AWP arc would have excited us, but beyond that the options are nicoodoz or acoR. Neither of which fill us with joy.
They could have gone for regali (who does speak Danish) and sirah, but maybe they got to sirah too late, or maybe they just think holding themselves to one nation is probably what stops them from being good.
Whichever one it is, we actually quite like who they’ve picked up. ryu enjoyed a solid 2025 with Monte and phzy has been due a true tier one call up for a long time, both players should be able to elevate the team.
But elevate them to what level exactly? Well, that part we aren’t sure of.
There’s still a lot more to come from jabbi, and we’re still not 100% convinced on Staehr being the star of a team with any real ambition. phzy is good, but he feels more like a floor raising AWPer than a ceiling raiser. ryu will have to adapt to tier one fast.
A lot of question marks. A massive gamble. The Gigachad will have his work cut out for him with this one.
