Somehow, that includes Vitality

NAVI, Vitality, Spirit - what do all of these teams have in common? They’re all pretty bad.
But not as bad as Luminosity or NIP, who have us very riled up this week.

We wished for yxngstxr to find a new team, but the monkey’s paw curled...
…welcome to Luminosity.
The Major-winning org’s return to CS has not exactly been a triumphant one - unless you’re Gizmy, in which case we’re sure the Schadenfreude is palpable - and after a whopping five series with the team, changes are being made.
That’s right - the long-awaited return of LG with their Gizmy-less supersquad of Monte players lasted exactly one FNS. Who’d be the scapegoat? Why of course, the support player!
Bymas hasn’t exactly been stellar, we agree, but unless there’s a hefty role change coming up, we’re not sure replacing the player in the least impactful role is the best idea. It’s not like Wolves would win the Champions League if they swapped nothing but their goalkeeper.
Although it would be a good start, Jose Sa is f-cking sh-t.
But down to the bench he went, and in stepped a player who truly deserved better. Everyone’s favourite Clash Royale player turned hobby AWPer - yxngstxr.
Now, this writer personally is actually quite a big fan of yxngstxr. He has the correct grindset, a positive attitude, a snappy first bullet accuracy, and any team will be improved by the energy he brings.
You got the bag, now take our advice: get the f-ck out of there right f-cking now.
For yxngstxr, this feels like stepping onto the Titanic at some point between the aft snapping off and Kate Winslet pushing Leonardo DiCaprio into the water. To say the ship has sailed, crashed, and rapidly begun sinking is an understatement for this team.
And what improvement do they expect they’ll get out of making an upgrade in the support spot? With so many hot AWPers about, why isn’t anyone wondering where afro’s 1.14 rating went? Or why the players won’t subscribe to lux’s calling?
Well, that last bit we think even LG knows already.
Anyway, we’re glad yxngstxr finds a home, but chief - this ain’t it.
Here’s to hoping we’re wrong.

Our expectations for you were low, but holy f-ck…
Despite not being out of the fight just yet, mezii-less Vitality crashed and burned against Inner Circle, arguably the weakest team at BLAST Open Porto 2026.
jL’s debut in the Bees’ jersey was completely overshadowed by a generational stinker from ZywOo, who posted a 0.78 series rating - his second-worst performance in CS2 - as Vitality suffered back-to-back BO3 losses for the first time since October last year.
At least NAVI can take some solace in the fact that they’ve finally found something they can one-up Vitality in: being sh-t. iM and makazze put on a disasterclass in their loss to M80, giving the haters a field day.
Keeping up the trend from the EWC, Falcons also looked shaky, although they managed to scrape by and get the job done against Lynn Vision.
But enough negativity - we need to have a serious talk about try.
This guy hasn’t exactly come out of nowhere, but now that he’s finally been given a real shot, he’s showing exactly why he’s been so highly rated for a while now. Legacy swept FUT off the back of yet another stellar performance from the AWPer, setting up a big test on Saturday as they take on karrigan and co. with a Playoffs spot on the line.
Rounding things off with the more expected results, FURIA, Spirit, and MOUZ all swept their respective opening matchups, taking down paiN, DENDELE, and 9z, respectively.

This week on Overtime on Inferno, Sam and Quacke are fortunate enough to review the indie game “Goo Deer” after being sent a free copy by the devs. As Quacke will tell you, it’s truly one of the games of all time. In terms of the Counter-Strike though, the boys get to arguing about Vitality’s era. Quacke believes it to be over, and Sam’s having none of it.

If rumours are to be believed, NIP are in search of a new IGL.
We have one question:
Why?
No, seriously, on what planet can they justify cutting Snappi? Sure, results haven’t been what they would have wanted, but look at what the poor bloke has had to put up with during his time there.
First off, they signed the two Portugeezers, who, without MUTiRiS - a f-cking miracle worker btw - holding their hand, were always going to be pretty pants. He also had r1nkle, who, if he doesn’t take his hands off his keyboard and mouse, is almost guaranteed to lose every 1v1 he’s ever in, and then they kept chopping and changing the lineup every couple of months to get past these mistakes.
It would take a miracle for prime karrigan to get these bums to play, ffs.
And now, after all that, they reportedly looked to replace him with LNZ, who is a decent IGL, sure, but it’s a replacement that stinks of the real problem with the team: Xizt.
Xizt, who has now done nothing to elevate HEROIC, overseen multiple underwhelming NIP projects, and… well, that’s it actually, which is quite the indictment of his coaching “career”.
Seriously, what kind of cronyism buff does this motherf-cker have? What will it take for NIP management to realise he’s the real terrorist behind their continued middling existence?
Will it be xKacpersky’s eventual step up? Will it be when Astralis decide stavn is a competent AWPer and sign him over phzy? When they miss the next three Majors?
What will it be? Because we don’t see how they can’t realise that the staff behind the team is the real problem, and not necessarily anyone inside of it.
Because genuinely, if you, like them, are sat there and looking at Snappi as the problem, you need to give your head a serious wobble. How close has this team been to making it as a legit tier one team? Given what tier two is like, that didn’t happen because they had a sh-t IGL.
They didn’t c-cktease us in Budapest because Snappi couldn’t make a call; they c-ckteased us because his players were useless, and their coach did nothing to fix the glaring problems in their game.
NIP is and always will be an org that gets absolutely what it deserves, and this is just the latest indication as to why.
