Faceit bans
It turns out there ARE consequences to your actions.
Who would have guessed?
Two Eternal Fire academy players decided it was a good idea to abuse the console glitch that basically gives you wallhacks, got banned for two years by FACEIT, and then dropped by Eternal Fire.
Obviously. What did you expect?
If you’re trying to go pro, why are you abusing glitches that you surely must realise will get you banned? What possible advantage can there be from “””testing””” (we know what you really mean) the glitch out?
You tried to cheat in a PUG, for some reason, and got banned. You got what you deserve, you absolute morons. Even if one thinks that two years is too lengthy a ban — and there have been long discussions about it — why are you abusing the bug if you’re already on a team?
We’d ban them just for being so bloody stupid.
By the same token, gokushima has been given a two-year ban. Not for the same reason, but for something equally poisonous.
His two-year ban is for match-fixing, which is sort of an open secret in Counter-Strike, so think about how stupid you have to be to actually get caught doing it.
We have absolutely no sympathy for anyone involved in this story, bar the FACEIT admins who might have to deal with some nonsense about it being too long a ban.
If it were down to us, it’d be longer. F*ck cheaters now and forever.
