In an attempt to answer this question, I’ve entered Frankenstein’s laboratory. And I came back with a monster.
Crazy things are happening in the quest to take down Vitality.
MOUZ have mindf-cked themselves into becoming FaZe, Jame resurrected himself to lead Russian children to glory, and Spirit turned to magixx, because they seemingly thought an IGL with a single-digit IQ might be able to confuse Vitality into defeat.
Although somehow, karrigan to Falcons is still the craziest one of them all.
Will any of these teams be able to take down Vitality before Cologne? Probably not. Will they even be able to take them down in Cologne? Also, probably not.
So what will it take to actually do it? What kind of superteam must one create to take down the greatest team of all time?
Well, I’ve been to Frankenstein’s laboratory, and I think I’ve got the answer.
The current pack
The funniest thing about CS right now is that it’s probably the most competitive era I can remember. The only real problem with that is that Vitality exists at the same time as the rest of that field, and that field just can’t compete with them.
Of course, all of those teams do have flaws. Some play pretty poor CS, others lack in firepower, but when thrown into the mixer without the final boss, anyone can beat anyone. And it’s pretty fun to watch.
But which of them stands the best chance at beating Vitality?
It seems obvious to say that on any given day, Spirit absolutely could do it. All it would really take is for donk to hit his absolute peak and keep it up for a full series; then he might just be able to push all the way through Vitality’s exceedingly tight defences.
It would still be a very lengthy BO3, though.
You could make it a bit easier for Spirit with some solid anti-stratting, or a step up in performances from any of their other “stars”, but now we’re throwing in too many variables, and now it’s starting to feel very unrealistic.
FURIA have shown they can do it, but that was a very different FURIA, who were playing against a very different Vitality.
FURIA at the end of 2025 were the in-form team. KSCERATO and yuurih were clutching left, right, and centre, molodoy was hitting teams like a nuke, and YEKINDAR was picking up entires whenever it was required of him. For a time, it seemed like they might even be the team to actually dethrone Vitality, but the kings sat back up, and FURIA haven’t been close since.
The obvious answer then, when removing MOUZ because they’re MOUZ and NAVI because they just don’t shoot hard enough to do it, is Falcons. Should it come to fruition, the arrival of karrigan makes that feel even more likely.
Although his firepower - or rather, lack of - may have been an issue for a FaZe team that also includes jcobbb and broky, that won’t be the case with Falcons. NiKo, kyousuke, and m0NESY are the trio best positioned to match ropz, ZywOo, and flameZ, and karrigan should be able to get the most out of them just as apEX has with Vitality.
If he can turn TeSeS into mezii-lite, Falcons really could be cooking.
That, or the worst fears are confirmed, and karrigan really just has lost his spark. But that’s too sad to consider.

Our dream, Vitality’s nightmare
So there we have it, a team to end Vitality.
Of course, it will never happen. It would simply cost too much to build, perhaps even for the likes of Falcons. That’s even if the organisations would agree to sell the players in the first place.
Regardless, the crazy part about this entire thing is that it feels like it will take this level of a superteam to actually beat them. Vitality are just too good, and unlike Astralis, who got knocked off their perch by COVID and an org that was pushing them past their limits, there don’t seem to be any outside factors that will hold them back anytime soon.
However, to quote one of the only good lines in the MCU: “Power invites challenge. Challenge incites conflict. And conflict breeds catastrophe.”
And for Vitality, this team would certainly be catastrophic.
